Sri Subramanyeshwara Foundation

Our work is crucial in bridging gaps in rural development, providing essential resources & opportunities that help communities overcome poverty, gain self-sufficiency & improve their quality of life.

Sri Subramanyeshwara Foundation, established in 2014-15 in Chintamani, Karnataka, is committed to uplifting rural communities facing severe poverty and social challenges. Founded by Mr. Munireddy, who himself experienced the hardships of underprivileged life, the Foundation focuses on building sustainable support systems for marginalized and migrant families. With compassion and community-centered solutions, the organization addresses issues in education, livelihood, and sustainability. Through its projects, the Foundation is dedicated to eradicating hunger, promoting digital literacy, and creating employment opportunities for disadvantaged populations.

Programs

Elderly Care: Free Food and Healthcare Services for Senior Orphans

Sri Subramanyeshwara Foundation supports elderly orphans with a Free Food Distribution Service, ensuring 55 seniors receive nutritious, balanced meals daily. This initiative addresses food insecurity and isolation, offering culturally appropriate meals with a variety of staples, vegetables, proteins, and fruits to support health. Local volunteers assist in preparing and delivering fresh, warm meals, fostering a network of care and dignity for these vulnerable seniors. The program reflects the foundation's commitment to the well-being and support of elderly individuals without family.

Educational and Health Support for Adolescent Girls in Chikkaballapur Villages

We are dedicated to improving the education and well-being of adolescent girls in the villages of Chikkaballapur. Our support includes providing essential educational materials, conducting awareness programs, and organizing free health checkups. These initiatives aim to equip young girls with the resources and knowledge needed for a brighter future, promoting both academic growth and health awareness within the community.

Free Health Checkup for Adolescent Girls in Rural Areas

To support the health of rural adolescent girls, a free health checkup was organized, benefiting 350 girls from Seekal, Vemagal, and Kyalanur. This initiative focused on common health issues like anemia, nutrition, and hygiene. Medical professionals conducted assessments, provided health education, and distributed health kits and supplements. The program raised awareness among families and addressed critical health needs, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to rural community well-being.

Rural Youth Leadership Development Training

We organized the Rural Youth Leadership Development Training Program in Velagalaburre and Mylandlahalli, aiming to empower 100 rural youths with essential leadership skills. This program equips participants with practical tools for driving progress, covering topics like effective communication, decision-making, project management, and community mobilization. Through hands-on sessions, the initiative builds confidence and a sense of purpose, preparing young leaders to foster sustainable development within their communities.

Rural Youth Leadership Development Training

Our transformative journey began with empowering 150 young individuals from Sugaturu, Madanahalli, and Matnahalli through a dedicated Rural Youth Leadership Development Training. This initiative fosters leadership, entrepreneurial skills, and civic responsibility, aiming to develop a generation of visionary, self-reliant leaders who can drive sustainable change in their communities. Spanning several weeks, the training focused on building essential competencies like communication, problem-solving, and decision-making. Participants engaged in hands-on projects tackling real-life issues, such as agricultural innovation and health awareness, applying their skills to create tangible, positive impacts in their villages.

Solar Power Awareness Training for Farmers

In Chintamani Taluk, an awareness training on solar power energy management reached 250 farmers, highlighting the economic and environmental benefits of sustainable energy. Participants learned about solar applications in agriculture, including water pumps and lighting, through lectures and live demonstrations. Success stories from local farmers motivated participants to explore solar energy as a cost-saving alternative. The session also covered government subsidies and financial aid, with plans for follow-up support to assist with solar installations, promoting eco-friendly practices across rural communities.
